Blurb

Take one bad boy rock god. Mix slowly with one wholesome librarian. Add a dash of paparazzi, a twist of scandal, and you won’t believe how good this dish tastes.

Ash

It’s pretty easy being a rock god. Party. Perform. P*ssy. Repeat. I’m 26 and it’s worked for me for years. Until I was caught ripping out the heart of America’s Sweetheart in a video gone viral. Now #HatePlayerAsh is trending on Twitter, she’s writing a song about how much I suck and I’m in desperate need image rehab, fast.

Good thing paparazzi chased me into that library. Had I not ducked under that desk I never would have found myself next to the long, sexy legs and disapproving gaze of Anika Ivanov. In my world of use and get used, she’s a unicorn. A kind, 24-year-old, hard-working, family-oriented children’s librarian. My agent agrees, she’s the one to set everything right. All she needs to do is fake a month-long public romance, let the world see me fall hard for her, then dump me in a brutal, public display. It’s genius.

Now I just have to convince her to agree. And convince myself that the only reason I want to spend the month with her is to improve my image. It’s not her full, luscious lips or her soft, seductive laugh or those fantasies I keep having of tying her down to my bed as I make her quiver and pant and call out my name.

Ana

Ash Black. In my library. Under my desk. It’s hard to believe it happened. I’ve listened to his voice so many times, my favorite soundtrack as I walk the streets of New York. My secret bad boy crush, the smoldering, shirtless star of the tabloids, all muscles and tattoos. Then one day he shows up and kisses me in my break room.

What’s even crazier is how he wants me to spend the next month. At his shows in L.A., San Francisco and Vegas, candlelight dinners in New York and Paris. He wants the world to believe he’s fallen in love. With me.

I’ve got to say no. He’s a walking disaster with a dirty mouth and wicked hands that melt my panties right off of me. This month would take everything in my well-ordered, neat little life and shake it up like a snowglobe.

Then why am I so tempted to say yes?

It’s image rehab, plain and simple. A month of fake romance to convince the press that bad boy rocker Ash Black has fallen for a good girl librarian. It should be easy. It’s anything but.

Ash

New York City. Vegas. Paris. A whirlwind tour for our whirlwind romance, every step, smile and kiss photographed from every angle. It’s all going according to plan, rehabbing my bad boy rock star image by falling hard for a sweet, wholesome librarian.

There are all kinds of reasons to keep my hands off her. The no-sex clause in our contract. Paparazzi around every corner. She doesn’t trust me because she thinks I’m a player, and she’s right.

But I’m done playing by the rules. I’m rock star Ash Black and I’ve never been good at doing what other people tell me. I’m done mugging for the cameras.

I want her alone, all to myself, where the only rules are the ones I dictate. When it’s just us, there’ll be nothing fake about her begging me to let her come. I’m a musician, baby, and believe me, I’m going to savor the sound of her every pant, gasp and moan.

Ana

It’s just a show, a month-long façade. I need to keep my head in the game, my heart under wraps and my body out of reach of his wickedly talented hands.

He’s not making it easy for me. Every time I watch him perform, I go weak in the knees. Every time he romances me over a candlelight dinner, I melt. And the few moments he’s caught me alone, he’s started a fire in me unlike anything I’ve ever felt before. It’s roaring, licking, burning me up.

I’m not good at pretending. And with the heat he’s building in me, I’m not sure how long I’m going to last. One month can feel like forever when you’re so close to exactly what you want but not allowed to touch it. Sooner or later, a girl has to reach out and touch.

NOTE: Undone is a three-volume hot adult romance. It’s the second story in the Beg for It series about the dominant, alpha males in Ash’s family and the strong, sexy women who make them finally meet their match.

Undone Volume 1

I pulled against my wrist restraints, panting as his tongue trailed a slow, teasing path down my stomach. A moan escaped my lips. I needed to touch him, fist my fingers in his thick, jet-black hair and dig my nails into his broad, muscular shoulders. But I couldn’t even see him. He’d blindfolded me. Twisting my head to the side, I could still picture him, tattoos licking along his bicep. The ridges of his abs, the start of his V.

“Please!” I couldn’t help but cry out. I needed more, needed his tongue lower, needed to be set free so I could at least touch myself if not him. He’d worked me up into such a frenzy. With a low, satisfied growl deep in his chest, he dipped his tongue in a lazy circle around my belly button. He insisted on having me his way, tormenting every inch of me until I begged for it.

“Ash!” I strained against my ties, spread-eagle on the king-size bed, but he’d fastened them well. All I succeeded in doing was arching up my back, further offering my naked breasts up for his pleasure.

He chuckled, deep and wicked, tracing my curves with his hand. “You like being tied up, don’t you, my Anika?” His fingers melted me as he stroked my limbs, up my side, along the swell of my breast. He paused and I held my breath, wondering what he might do next, feeling a throb deep in my pussy, drawing more slick sweetness from my core. The anticipation, the submission, it made me crazy.

But he kept on going, up past my breast, along my collarbone, up my arm to circle my restraints. He drew my attention to his control, how he had me tied up, exactly where he wanted me.

“I knew you’d like it,” he murmured. “You’re so beautiful, laid out here for me.”

I panted like an animal and swallowed hard. A sliver of my mind still reared up in shock at what I was doing, what I was letting him do to me. Willingly turning myself over to him in complete submission. I’d never done anything like it before, letting someone tie me up. I’d thought about it, even touched myself fantasizing about it late at night. But never in my bland, boring, good girl what-passed-for-a-sex-life had I ever done anything like it.

Turned out that getting snowed in at a cabin in the mountains with Ash Black, the sexiest, hottest rock god on the planet brought out the naughty side in me.

A month ago, I never would have believed any of this would happen. Sure, I’d fantasized about the lead singer of my favorite band. Plenty of times. But I wasn’t alone in that. Ash Black had been on the cover of People magazine as sexiest man alive the last two years in a row. I think he’d starred in more than a few late-night fantasies.

But even my fantasies hadn’t taken me this far. A month ago, I never could have imagined this scene. I wouldn’t have recognized the naked woman, bound and blindfolded on the bed, writhing and whimpering beneath Ash’s large, powerful body.

Suddenly, I felt wet heat on my aching, erect nipple. I cried out as he sucked me, licked me, pleasure rocketing directly to my sex.

“You need this, Ana. Don’t you?” he whispered, husky. I could feel his stubble, rough along my soft breast as he circled my nipple, slowly, teasing me again.

“Yes!” I cried out. “Please!” I begged for release, not from bondage, but from the intensity of the building, cresting orgasm I could feel quivering up inside of me. I needed to let it out, and I needed him to free it from me.

“You can scream when you come, Ana,” he whispered, trailing his tongue down my stomach. Slowly, so slowly. I moaned, wishing I could move, wishing I could bring my sex up to him and make things happen faster. I’d never felt so desperate, so crazed. Sex before Ash had always been blah, mostly forgettable, slightly regrettable. It had never felt anything like this rush of a roller coaster ride, this wild, heady plunge straight into the unknown.

“It will be our little secret,” he continued, down now at my hips. Large fingers over my smooth skin, he worshipped my curves, feathering kisses down the insides of my thighs.

BLOG TOUR BLITZ

Mamie Garrison

Welcome Teresa! Please tell us a little about yourself?

Welcome Teresa! Please tell us a little about yourself?
Author Bio: Hello. I am the author of the Historical Fiction novel called Mamie Garrison. It is a tale of slavery, abolition, romance and history, set in the years just prior to the Civil War. I am 58 and married with one adult child. I have always enjoyed the written word and am a voracious reader from my early youth. I am inspired by many authors in the historical fiction genre. I am also a lover of Russian literature, particularly Tolstoy and Doestoyefsky. I find great inspiration for creating characters by looking at the ones these two authors have created. There is such a depth to them. I have written for most of my life in one form or another. I have dabbled in poetry and songwriting, and have more started novels than finished ones. In my free time, I like reading, history, crossword puzzles and travel. I am interested in genealogy and working on my family tree. I live in the Midwest United States with my husband, Chris and my dog, Max.
When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer? I always loved to read and wrote terrible poetry when I was younger, youth to teen age. When I met and married my husband, a musician, I co-wrote some song lyrics with him. I always thought I would like to write a book. One day, I just sat down and started and the result was Mamie Garrison.

How long does it take you to write a book?
Mamie Garrison took me about a year and a half. I think this was essentially because it started out as a very different book. Mamie was a secondary character. The problem was Mamie kept bugging me to tell her story. When I did that, not really even knowing what that story was at first, it all fell into place.

What is your work schedule like when you're writing? I am different from many writers in that I don't physically write every day. In other words, I don’t type everyday. I think of a scene and I run it through my head till it plays like a movie and then usually put it on paper or laptop. This tends to work well for me. By the time I get to typing, it is almost exactly how I want it. Usually. I do not work outside of writing and tend to do my best writing in the morning after I've had my coffee.

What would you say is your interesting writing quirk? I would have to say again, the fact that I do not write everyday. Most advice I see from other writers is to write every day. It's always going on in my head, though. I also write in bed and not at a desk. I have to be comfortable for the thoughts to flow.

How do your books get published? I publish independently.

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books? I write what I care about, what moves me. I have always hated injustice of any sort. I always root for the underdog. I think with “Mamie Garrison” I wanted to show that ordinary people can do the extraordinary when it matters. It's not how much you do or even what you do, but rather, the fact that you did what you could.

When did you write your first book and how old were you? Mamie is my first book and I am 58. I've started a few going back to when I was in high school but never finished them.

What do you like to do when you're not writing? I read a lot. Probably at least a book a week. I have done extensive work on my family tree. I still work on it but not as often as I did. I have a granddaughter coming in August and plan to spend lots of time spoiling her.

What does your family think of your writing? They are very supportive. My Mom loves it and has suggested it to her book club. Lol. Gotta love moms. Many in my family have read it and enjoyed it. My husband is very cooperative when I need to be alone to write. I've always been a person who enjoys being alone, so there were no surprises there.
What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books? The fact that I could start and finish one. I think the biggest surprise was when reviews started coming in and people were writing such nice things about it. I am so happy people like it.

How many books have you written? Which is your favorite? Just Mamie, but I am in the process of the second book in the series which will feature some of the children mentioned in the first book. Of course, characters from the first book will reappear. I conceived the idea as a trilogy, but one book at a time. We will see where we go after this next one.

Do you have any suggestions to help me become a better writer? If so, what are they? On my blog, I tend to mention often, that you need to write what you love, what moves you. If it moves you, it will move someone else. I love Hemingway’s quote about finding the truest sentence you can and writing that. Ask yourself, is this truth, is this important? If it is, others will notice. This can be done in any genre. Truth is truth. Even in fiction.

Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say? I do. I have received such lovely comments and reviews. Most want to tell me they loved the book. Many become enamored of Mamie. She is quite the woman.

Do you like to create books for adults? Yes. I don't think I could ever write children's books. Some subject matter is difficult to write about. I try not to step over the line of good taste and write only what is important to tell the story. For me, this works.

What do you think makes a good story? Oh, it has to be the characters for me. If I connect with a character, then the story seems to flow from that. I also like a few unexpected twists when appropriate to the storyline, and some surprises.

As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up? I wanted to be a teacher and I was for a number of years.
Book Blurb: Mamie Garrison is a story of an ordinary woman who goes to extraordinary lengths to do what she knows is right. Everything in her young life has led her to this moment, this decision. She will embark on the greatest adventure of her life.
Approximately one hundred and fifty years later, her ancestor, Bella Garrison, inherits a house from her grandmother and finds Mamie's journals in a trunk in the attic. Bella with the help of her historian boyfriend, Andrew, will follow Mamie's journey through her writings, to find out more about this intrepid woman and what she achieved. However, someone is trying to stop them from learning about Mamie. What do they not want Bella to find out?
And...what is the meaning of the strange events occurring in Bella's house?

Author Migraine Central Review of Mamie Garrison:
Mamie Garrison is a proud and heroic woman. Her trials and tribulations were heartbreaking. Yet the horrors during this era in time were felt by more than many. I laughed and cried while reading this book. I loved Bella! This book is well written and executed. The characters are so well developed that I could actually see in my minds eye the care and warm heart of the woman herself and the author. This book deserves five stars just for the sheer hard passion in which it was written. Such a wonderful read. I have read it twice now and will definitely order the hard back if I can. A book for all times. Recommended to any one who loves historical heartwarming books.

RELEASE BLITZ LOST BY BARBARA SPEAK

RELEASE BLITZ
LOST: BOOK ONE IN THE FINDING SOLACE TRILOGY
BARBARA SPEAK

RELEASE: MARCH 1ST, 2016

Sadie Warren is a walking contradiction. The confidence she wears on the outside is only to cover the scars that are imbedded on her soul. Coming out of an abusive relationship where she was stripped of her security and confidence, she chooses to bury it under every man she gives her body to. After one intoxicated night that she will never remember in its entirety, everything begins to change. Being seen more for her positive attributes and less for her faults, Sadie arises from the dark and into a place she feels safe. But with that comes a chain of events that blur the lines of everything she thought she needed and everything she's beginning to want.

"Please don't turn around. It will be easier for me to say what I need to say. Do you remember all the times you felt jealous when you shouldn't have? Don't answer. Do you remember all the times you felt more than you knew you should? Don't answer. I feel all those things too. I hate feeling them too. I don't want anything to happen between us that we aren’t ready for. All it will do is tear us apart. I love what we have, but I hate feeling like a dirty secret. I hate that I walked into 51 and saw you feeling up a girl but you can't even kiss me in front of people. I agreed to the arrangement. I know we said we wouldn't do serious. I don't want to get married, Colt. Not anytime soon at least. But why can't we find a balance? Okay, answer." Colt turned around and I was scared. He didn't look mad. That's not why I was scared. I was scared because he held the power to rip away the one thing that made me whole, being with him. "So I guess now is when we finish that conversation, huh?”If he was looking for me to answer him, I didn’t. I simply stood there and waited for him to continue. “I don't know what you want me to say Sadie. I'm not ready to be tied down. I'm not ready to feel like I'm cheating on you if my friends see me making out with another girl. I sound like a selfish prick. I hear myself and wonder who I've become. There’s just something about you Sadie that makes you different. Maybe it’s our friendship. I respect you and care about you. But I want you to really hear me when I say this. I don't want to hurt you. If you feel yourself falling for me, leave this. Walk away from whatever this is. I'm really serious about that. I'm not ready for a relationship. I don't want to lose you but if it will keep you from hurting, I'm willing to let you go."

Author Barbara Speak loves nothing more than being allowed to share her ideas and thoughts through books that so many enjoy. When she's not writing she's caring for her son and daughter along side her amazing husband in rural Missouri. She has 5 more babies but these are covered in fur. Bode the boxer, Tucker the beagle and Lily, Callie and Connor her kitties.

He almost crushed the package that leaned against the doorway as he stepped out into the hall, and bent to pick it up as the door shut and locked itself behind him.
It was a small padded envelope and had no return address. No markings whatsoever. He felt the package, squeezed it. Whatever was inside was small.
Poking his thumb into the corner of the envelope, he tore it open and poured the contents into his hand.
A single data stick. Generic.
He looked in the envelope, but it was empty. No note or packing slip.
“Open the door,” he said, and the door clicked and opened as he turned toward it.
Going back into his apartment, he tossed the envelope onto a side table and went into the living room. Waving the stick near a grid on the wall, he looked up at the large inset screen. Nothing. He tried to scan it into his home system again, but it wouldn’t upload.
            What the hell?
He held the small stick up and looked at it more closely. There were no identification marks, no labels. Nothing. Just a generic black stick shaped like a tiny, blunted pencil.
He sat at the edge of his coffee table, leaned on his elbow, and pondered the small item in his palm.
He didn’t normally do this, but using his own neural uplink to read it was the only other logical option. The processor had been installed while he was in service, a mandatory installation the special ops soldiers needed to covertly share and control documents during missions. It had been wet-wired into his brain, and the small titanium disc that lay beneath his skull behind his right ear added the ability to store and upload information at will from an external wireless source. The security was tight, and viruses had a hard time getting in, so the risk for him was minimal.
Letting out one last breath, he rolled the stick in his hand then tapped a few codes into the illuminated numbers on his wrist.
He felt the data stick pulse in his hand, and suddenly his mind was awash with excruciating color and sound.
He clenched his teeth and squeezed his eyes shut against the intrusion of immediate pain that flashed through his body like molten silver.
His brain felt as if it caught fire.
Roaring, he clutched his head in his hands and dropped the stick, but whatever it had encapsulated had already uploaded into his neural systems.
Moments later he found himself sprawled on the floor, too weak to move. Every muscle in his body tensed, hardened, setting him rigidly against the floor, curling his fingers violently into the carpeting.
Holy fucking Christ!
Calder used every ounce of energy he had to open his eyes and turn himself over. It was as if he had been drugged and beaten repeatedly over his entire body. Every muscle throbbed. Every joint ached. He could not contain the moan that escaped his lips when he finally turned over and lay flat on his back. Convulsions coursed through his muscles and his back arched against the pain until he lay exhausted.
The room became blindingly, painfully bright. He patted himself down awkwardly until he found his shades in a breast pocket. Struggling to steady his hand to put them on, he used one last burst of energy to get them in place before letting his arm fall to the floor just as another convulsion hit him. Squinting his eyes open once more, he directed his shades to darken to an almost completely black level. The light was still painful, but bearable.
Clenching his teeth against the onslaught of spasms, he breathed heavily until his body finally relaxed and he panted, spit trickling down his chin.
The grid on his wrist blinked relentlessly. Whatever it was that he’d uploaded, it was certainly wreaking havoc with his internal systems.
He tried to uplink to his augment to see what was going on, but the feedback that reverberated through his skull nearly knocked him unconscious.
His thoughts scrambled.
Had someone tried to kill him? Had they found a way past his military security to bug his brain? Dear God, how do you even get something like that back out?

About the Author

I know it sounds cliché, but I've been writing for as long as I can remember, in every capacity that I could manage. From newsletters to yearbooks, journals to hard cover books. It's not seeing my name on a cover or any kind of admiration that does it to me, it's getting it out. It's a strange phenomenon that most writers have, of having stories continually running through your mind and the nearly painful urge to get them all out before you forget them. Not sure what the phenomenon is called, but there are days I hate that I have it. It's a blessing and a curse. A double edged sword.

My love for sci-fi goes way back to my childhood. I mean, who didn't love movies like Tron and Terminator when they were a kid? Or great oldies like War Games. I grew up in the advent of technology and rode the wave of the dot com lifestyle in my 20s. It was a wonderful time to be alive, to see where tech could go. Being involved in the field as a database admin and then later as a hardware tech and web designer, I had my fingers in all of it and I loved what it was all about.
